WNAM MONITORING: Uzbekistan exported 146.3 thousand tons of fruits and vegetables worth US$ 75.4 million in January 2024. According to the Statistics agency, this figure has increased by 2.2 times or 78.8 thousand tons compared to the same period of 2023.
Russia (27.2 percent), Pakistan (21.2 percent), China (13.4 percent) and Kazakhstan (9.2 percent) were the main export destinations for Uzbek fruit and vegetables.
In January 2024, the share of export of fruits and vegetables was 6.8% of the total exports.
