Batam: A total of 10 relics left by Prophet Muhammad are being exhibited at the Batam International Islamic Expo at Dang Anom Park, Batam City, Riau Islands Province.
The international exhibition displays several artifacts related to the prophet, including hair, blood extracted from cupping therapy, cuts of turban, sweat extract, and whip, according to Head of Batam’s Culture and Tourism Office, Ardiwinata.
“The items were collected from Yemen, Medina, and Mecca. All of them are artifacts of chief historical values,” he remarked.
Ardiwinata expressed hope that the display of the 10 relics would encourage the Muslims of Batam to further nurture their love toward Prophet Muhammad.
“This exhibition is good for school students, college students, and the public as a whole. This is the power of Islam. It is amazing that these artifacts can be collected and preserved,” he stated.
