Tashkent: A delegation from Uzbekistan went to Afghanistan to deliver humanitarian aid. The head of the delegation is the governor of Surkhandarya region, Ulugbek Kasimov. The group is heading to Balkh district of Afghanistan in order to transfer another batch of humanitarian aid.
The humanitarian aid includes food products: 48 tons of flour and 48 tons of wheat, 15 thousand liters of vegetable oil, 10 thousand cans of stew, 24 tons of sugar and 22 tons of pasta, as well as 100 thousand servings of instant noodles.
It is planned that a ceremony for the transfer of humanitarian aid will be held in Hairaton, which will be attended by officials from both countries.
