OfWNAM MONITORING: The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, held a phone conversation with the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation, Rustam Minnikhanov, during which they discussed prospects for further developing traditional cooperation based on principles of mutual benefit and equal partnership.
At the beginning of the conversation, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov once again thanked for the warm welcome and hospitality extended to the members of the Turkmen delegation during their recent visit to friendly Tatarstan, reports Turkmenistan’s official media on Monday.
The sides noted that trade and economic ties occupy an important place in Turkmen-Tatarstan relations.
“We intend to continue increasing effective cooperation with the Republic of Tatarstan, which is an integral part of Turkmen-Russian interstate relations,” emphasized the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan.
At the end of the phone conversation, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, and the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, wished each other health and further success in their responsible state activities, as well as continued well-being and prosperity to the brotherly peoples of both countries.
