Jakarta: WNAM MONITORING: The new Deputy Minister of Investment and Deputy Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM), Yuliot Tanjung, ensured a smooth investment flow during the transition to the new government.
“We will provide the new government with a smooth investment flow for economic growth. That is our duty,” he remarked after being inducted by President Joko Widodo at the State Palace in Jakarta on Thursday.
He said that his ministry will continue efforts to ensure the achievement of investment targets during the remainder of the Joko Widodo-Ma’ruf Amin administration.
“We are responsible for overseeing various investment policies and also coordinating various policies with institutional ministries,” Tanjung stated.
Tanjung previously worked as the Ministry of Investment’s expert on investment management. He has served as Deputy for Investment Implementation Control since September 2023.
During his time as deputy, he focused on achieving investment realization and facilitating the resolution of investment problems faced by companies.
