WNAM REPORT: As of July 15, Azerbaijan has received an impressive 2,107 applications for participation in 2,058 projects focused on the reconstruction and development of its liberated territories, with 442 of these applications coming from foreign companies.
During a recent meeting with Azerbaijani and Vietnamese entrepreneurs, Shabnam Allahverdiyeva, adviser to the executive director of the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO), revealed that the trade turnover between the two countries surpassed $63 million in the first half of 2024.
She added that AZPROMO is ready to assist Vietnamese companies in establishing businesses in Azerbaijan by providing necessary resources and guidance.
Allahverdiyeva emphasized Azerbaijan’s commitment to expanding its non-oil exports, stating, “We are actively working to increase our non-oil exports. We seek to develop our trade relations by implementing export promotion mechanisms to support local exporters.”
“Azerbaijan’s investment potential is substantial, with special economic and industrial zones, agricultural parks, and free economic zones offering significant benefits such as various tax incentives for up to ten years,” she said.
