WEB DESK: The Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games promise to be remembered for their bright events. Guests of this large-scale sporting event – officials of prestigious organizations – hold meetings at various levels.
FIFA President Gianni Infantino met with the leadership of the Uzbekistan delegation at the organization’s office in Paris. Gianni Infantino announced this on his official page on Instagram:
“Uzbekistan will become the first Central Asian country to host a FIFA tournament when the FIFA Futsal World Cup 2024 takes place there from 14 September to 6 October this year. I thanked the officials of the country for the great work that has been done in preparing for this historic event and wished them the very best of luck. We had a taste of what to expect when the draw took place against a spectacular backdrop in Samarkand in May, and I am looking forward to a fantastic tournament in this amazing and beautiful country”.
According to the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan, the FIFA President’s message also noted that Uzbekistan was handed over the official Futsal World Cup trophy during the meeting in Paris. Gianni Infantino also wrote about the FIFA office museum, which has an exhibit about Ravshan Irmatov’s refereeing period.
