WNAM REPORT: Dilshod Akhatov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Germany, held several meetings during his trip to Leipzig city, Federal State of Saxony.
During the conversation between the diplomat and the Chief Executive of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Fabian Magerl, the participants of the event were informed about the large-scale reforms carried out in Uzbekistan and the conditions created for foreign companies and entrepreneurs.
Views were exchanged on the possibilities of opening new areas of mutually beneficial cooperation, on organizing a visit to Uzbekistan in the near future by a delegation of member companies of the Chamber, a business forum, and a roundtable discussion on professional education. It was noted that such events serve as an effective platform for exchanging knowledge and experience between representatives of business entities, education institutions, and government agencies.
During the talks, between the Ambassador of Uzbekistan and the Managing Director of Leipziger Messe, Martin Buhl-Wagner, the issue of organizing joint events aimed at developing economic and cultural ties by establishing cooperation with the national exhibition complex Uzexpocentre was discussed.
