WNAM REPORT: A briefing for media representatives was held at Kashkadarya Regional Territorial Election Commission on preparations for the election process.
The Chairman of the Commission, Ural Ostonov, informed about the work being carried out in the region.
It is expected that 1 million 872 thousand 564 voters from the region will participate in the upcoming elections. Of these, 37,614 are young people participating in the vote for the first time.
According to the Central Election Commission’s decision, early voting began on October 16 and ended on October 23. During this period, 153,365 (8.2 percent) people voted early, who will not be able to be in the region at their place of residence on election day. Ballots reflecting their choice are stored in a sealed envelope in the safe of the precinct election commissions.
