WNAM REPORT: A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the International Institute for Central Asia.
IICA Director Javlon Vakhabov and senior staff of the Ministry attended the event. The cooperation provides for a comprehensive, in-depth study of the main trends of external and internal political and socio-economic processes taking place in the world, the development of practical proposals and recommendations, as well as coordination of efforts to study international experience in ensuring national (military) security of the country, increasing the country’s defense capability.
The document also provides for the organization and holding of scientific-methodological and practical conferences at the national and international levels, the exchange of experience between experts in international relations and narrow circles of specialists, staff development, retraining, and internships.
