Don’t we need an Abu Tabela today?

A judge should not be a speaking judge. Whatever he wants to say he should say it through his written judgment . He had better avoid unwarranted wranglings with the lawyers during the course of proceedings in under trial cases in the court room as inadvertently or through slip of the tongue such words may come out of his mouth from which it should not be difficult for many listeners to discern which side is he on.
Likewise, that judge is considered to be a good judge who has no social life and he abstains himself from attending private or official lunches and dinners.
A code of ethics exists which spells out clearly dos and don’ts for the judges to follow in their life. Unfortunately, it is honoured more in the breach than observance by many judges.

In a very short time he crushed all the criminals by handing them down harsh punishment like hanging them from the lamp post or throwing them down from the minaret of Mohabat Khan mosque.
