WNAM REPORT: Representatives of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Bangkok participated in “14th Celebration of Silk: Thailand’s Silk Road to the World 2025”.
“Thailand’s Silk Road to the World” is an international festival dedicated to celebrating the cultural significance and promotion of Thai silk, held annually since 2010. At the event, representatives from 88 countries and talented Thai silk artisans presented a unique collection of clothing, including national costumes and innovative fashion creations by Thai silk designers.
A highlight of the event was a vibrant runway presentation of exquisite outfits skillfully combining Thai and Uzbek silk. These elegant dresses were designed by students from the fashion design faculty of the Nakhon Si Thammarat Vocational College, symbolizing remarkable cooperation and cultural synergy between Thailand and Uzbekistan.
Additionally, during the festival, a video highlighting Uzbekistan’s tourism potential, natural beauty, and national crafts was showcased. This multimedia approach impressed festival participants, allowing them to experience the warmth of Uzbek hospitality.
