WNAM REPORT: A high-level delegation from the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah visited the Pakistan Hajj Mission in Makkah and extended heartfelt thanks and congratulations on the successful completion of Hajj 2025. The delegation commended the exceptional arrangements and services provided to Pakistani pilgrims.
The visiting delegation included Dr. Abdul Fattah bin Sulaiman Mashat, Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Eyad bin Ahmed Rahbini, Assistant Deputy Minister for Hajj Operations ,and Dr. Badr Muhammad Al-Solami, Director General of Hajj Affairs.
The delegation was warmly received by Abdul Wahab Soomro, Director General Hajj Jeddah from Pakistan’s Ministry of Religious Affairs; Mirza Ali Mehmood, Senior Joint Secretary; Zulfiqar Khan, Chief Finance and Accounts Officer; and Aziz Ullah Khan, Director Hajj Makkah.
During the meeting, both sides emphasized the importance of continuing the same spirit of service, coordination, and teamwork for Hajj 2026, with a shared commitment to enhancing facilities for pilgrims.
Deputy Minister , Dr. Abdulfattah Mashat, praised the professional capabilities, sincere efforts, and well-organized arrangements of the Pakistan Hajj Mission. He commended the initiatives taken for the service of Pakistani pilgrims as exemplary and worthy of appreciation. Dr. Mashat also congratulated Abdul Wahab Soomro on receiving the “Labbaitam Award,” acknowledging the Mission’s outstanding performance under his leadership.
On this significant occasion, DG Hajj Pakistan Abdul Wahab Soomro expressed his deep appreciation for the delegation’s visit, highlighting the vital role of the Saudi Ministry’s guidance and cooperation in the smooth execution of Hajj operations. He affirmed that Pakistan values this partnership and looks forward to its continued strengthening.
The meeting concluded with DG Soomro presenting a commemorative shield to the honorable guests as a token of gratitude and goodwill. The gesture symbolized not only appreciation for their visit but also the hope for continued bilateral cooperation in future Hajj endeavors.
