Tashkent ( WNAM MONTORING ): One of Europe’s most prestigious textile exhibitions, “Source Fashion”, was held at the Olympia exhibition center in London.
Organized twice a year by Hyve Group, the exhibition brings together major brands, retail chains, and manufacturers from around the world, with a strong focus on sustainable cooperation and the development of supply chains in the textile industry.
For three days, approximately 250 manufacturing companies from 25 countries, including China, India, Vietnam, Nepal, Italy, Portugal, Nigeria, Türkiye, and others, participated in the event. The number of visitors increased by 22 percent compared to the previous year.
In addition to the exhibition itself, “Source Fashion” featured fashion shows, open discussions, and expert panels on current industry trends, sustainable production, and supply chain management.
According to industry experts, the United Kingdom imported textile products worth $22.5 billion in 2024. Current geopolitical tensions, along with rising production costs in traditional manufacturing hubs such as China and Türkiye, are creating significant opportunities for new suppliers.
In this context, representatives of Uzbekistan have been invited to participate with a national pavilion at the next “Source Fashion” exhibition and trade fair, scheduled to take place from January 13 to 15, 2026.
Participation in the exhibition offers Uzbekistan companies broad opportunities to promote their products on the European market, conclude new export contracts, expand areas of cooperation, and gain insight into current industry trends.
