WNAM REPORT: At the international exhibition My Karachi 2025, held in Pakistan’s Karachi, a national pavilion of industrial products was presented under the brand “Made in Uzbekistan”.
The exhibition was organized with the support of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Pakistan, the representative office of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan in Karachi, led by Albina Kurtbetdinova, and Sohaill Moten, head of Diners Group.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Governor of Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori highlighted the active development of trade, economic, and investment relations between Uzbekistan and Pakistan, emphasizing the strong potential for bilateral cooperation in key sectors such as agriculture, textiles, energy, ICT, pharmaceuticals, tourism, and logistics.
Uzbek chemical, agricultural, textile, pharmaceutical, electrical, construction, and leather footwear industries were prominently featured in the pavilion. Exhibition guests were introduced to the product range, delivery terms, and information about leading enterprises of Uzbekistan.
Particular interest was drawn to the activities of the Uzbekistan – Pakistan Trade House in Karachi. The head of Diners Group delivered a presentation on Uzbekistan’s investment climate, highlighting the opportunities for mutually beneficial partnerships.
Following the exhibition, an agreement was reached for a delegation of entrepreneurs from Sindh province to visit Uzbekistan in September this year. The visit will include targeted negotiations on several promising projects.
