WNAM MONITORING: Turkmenistan will inaugurate several new educational facilities on the occasion of Knowledge and Student Youth Day. The announcement was made by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov during a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on Friday, according to official state media.
In Ashgabat, the International University for Industrialists and Entrepreneurs is set to open, while in Mary, a new campus will be added to the State Energy Institute. Additionally, new schools and kindergartens will open in the capital and across the regions.
President Berdimuhamedov emphasized that the development of the education sector and the upbringing of the younger generation remain top priorities of state policy.
The head of state also congratulated teachers, students, and schoolchildren on Knowledge Day and the start of the new academic year, wishing them success in their studies and professional activities.
At the meeting, the Cabinet reviewed the country’s performance over the past eight months.
