ISLAMABAD ( WNAM REPORT ): Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Pakistan Reza Amiri Moghadam has extended his sincere gratitude and warm congratulations to the Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan for successfully hosting the significant multilateral event of the Regional Transport Ministers Conference 2025.
The Ambassador stated that he was highly honored by the participation of the delegation of the Islamic Republic of Iran in this prestigious event at the highest level. He said that the successful organization of this conference reflects Pakistan’s commitment to advancing regional cooperation and sustainable connectivity across Asia and beyond.
He emphasized that the geographical location of the region, endowed with immense natural and human resources, represents a unique geopolitical configuration. When coupled with the deep-rooted cultural and historical linkages among the participating nations, it strengthens the region’s position as a vital hub of geoeconomics within a broader global framework.
The Iranian Ambassador noted that this dynamic regional cooperation will pave the way for enhanced regional and transregional connectivity, deeper transport collaboration, and sustainable development, leading to prosperity and welfare for all societies in the region.
Highlighting the importance of the South–North and East–West Corridors, he said these initiatives provide a constructive platform for cooperative engagement among the friendly and brotherly countries of Iran, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Turkmenistan, Sri Lanka, and others.
He reiterated Iran’s firm commitment to working closely with Pakistan and other regional partners to realize the shared vision of connectivity, peace, and prosperity through enhanced transport linkages and economic integration.
