ISLAMABAD ( WNAM REPORT): A dignified ceremony at Islamabad Model School F-7/2, replete with scientific activities and patriotic songs, captivates all attendees.
Under its renowned educational initiative “Science on Wheels,” China Media Group’s mobile caravan visited Islamabad’s Park School. For the past 42 years, Master Muhammad Ayub has been instrumental in enlightening children, who are deprived of formal schooling due to socio-economic disparities and financial constraints, through informal education. These children, pursuing their academic journey in various parks and public spaces of Islamabad, have found a beacon of hope and a gateway to a brighter future through Master Ayub’s relentless dedication and service.
Building upon this noble endeavour, China Media Group and Islamabad Model School F-7/2 jointly orchestrated a distinguished ceremony in honour of the Park School children. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from the host school’s students as well. Children from both schools immensely benefited from the scientific apparatus, videos on advanced knowledge, and informative activities inside the caravan, with every face radiating smiles and a spark of curiosity.
The chief guest on the occasion was Senator Bushra Anjum Butt, who also chairs the Senate Standing Committee on Federal Education and Professional Training. She lauded Master Ayub’s four decades of selfless service in glowing terms, stating that personalities like him are true epitomes of social welfare. She expressed profound interest in programmes like “Science on Wheels,” emphasising their pivotal role in fostering scientific awareness among the younger generation.
Master Muhammad Ayub, speaking at the event, shed light on the educational needs and challenges faced by underprivileged and deserving children, underscoring the paramount importance of education. He hailed China Media Group’s “Science on Wheels” programme as a luminous and commendable manifestation of Pakistan-China friendship, asserting that modern education is the cornerstone of a prosperous future for children.
Eminent scholar and senior official of the Rawal Foundation, Dr. Muhammad Shakeel Ahmad, demonstrated scientific experiments for the children, introduced them to fundamental scientific concepts, and channeled their inquisitiveness positively. The children not only participated with keen interest in every experiment but also posed thoughtful questions, clearly indicative of their burgeoning scientific curiosity.
The Principal of Islamabad Model School F-7/2, Ms. Rabia Qayyum, encouraged the children to persevere with their educational pursuits despite adverse circumstances. She expressed her delight that such initiatives play a significant role in motivating the students.
Complementing the academic pursuits, the children infused the ceremony with joy and vibrancy by singing patriotic melodies, participating in races, and engaging wholeheartedly in various positive activities.
The children’s beaming smiles, their growing confidence, and their keen interest in scientific principles served as a testament that “Science on Wheels” is not merely an educational programme, but also a radiant beacon igniting new dreams in young minds.
This unique endeavour by China Media Group has once again demonstrated that knowledge, friendship, and collaboration are the essential bridges that can lead underprivileged segments of society towards a more robust and empowered future.
