ISLAMABAD ( WNAM REPORT): Member Elder Council of Islamabad Estate Agents Association and Chairman Overseas Committee ICCI, Chaudhry Nawaz Basra, has said that effective strategies must be adopted to enhance overseas investment in the real estate sector. He said that overseas Pakistanis plays a vital role in the country’s economic development and investment in the property sector has always been their top priority.
He emphasized that to promote overseas investment, a one window operation should be introduced through which land records, tax payments, transfer fees, safety checks and legal verification can all be completed on a single platform. Moreover, digitized land records,online title verification and a transparent transaction system will further strengthen the confidence of overseas Pakistanis. He urged the government to take immediate steps to provide an investor friendly environment so that trust can be restored and overseas Pakistanis can continue to invest more actively.
