BARCELONA: (WNAM REPORT): Shumaila Siddiqui, Chairperson Diplomatic Affairs, Islamabad Chamber of Small Traders and Small Industries, recently visited the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, marking a significant step towards enhancing bilateral trade and investment opportunities between Pakistan and Spain.
During her visit, Siddiqui held crucial meetings with representatives of the Barcelona Chamber, exploring ways to strengthen business-to-business linkages and promote economic cooperation. She announced that a comprehensive trade delegation from Islamabad, led by herself, will soon visit Spain to establish direct and productive connections between the business communities of both countries.
The upcoming trade delegation, titled “Made in Pakistan,” aims to showcase Pakistan’s key sectors, including manufacturing, textiles, IT, food, and sports goods, in the European market. The Barcelona Chamber of Commerce has already expressed interest in this initiative and pledged to support deeper trade cooperation with Pakistan.
Siddiqui’s efforts have been appreciated by the Barcelona Chamber, acknowledging her role in promoting Pakistan’s economic image. This visit is expected to pave the way for increased trade and investment opportunities between Pakistan and Spain, strengthening economic ties between the two countries.
