WNAM Monitoring: The Head of State surveyed the Situations Centre of Almaty city which provides real-time data about the city.
Almaty mayor Yerbolat Dossayev said the centre will become an efficient instrument for making decisions based on Big Data analysis and implementing the Open Data concept.
The centre helps collect and analyze data, inform population. Currently the centre consists of 52 modules embracing all the spheres of city. It collects information from more than 50 organizations, state and city information systems, including the website of the national statistics bureau, service 109, Sergek, Onai, emergency situations department, etc.).
Besides, last year the city introduced integrated security systems at all state schools and kindergartens which includes four components: digital cameras, video surveillance, alarm buttons and facila recognition.
