The commander of the Iranian Navy announced plans to hold a trilateral naval exercise in an oceanic region, with Iran acting as the host.

He said that the Iranian Navy has maintained an active international presence in the current Iranian calendar year (1404), participating in 12 different international events. These activities have included scientific, professional, and sports engagements, as well as participation in regional and extra-regional military exercises.

The commander added that within the framework of economic agreements, Naval Group 103 of the Iranian Navy is set to take part in one of these exercises in the near future.

According to him, members of the naval group are currently en route to the exercise area, and it is expected that the Iranian Navy will formally join the drill within the next week.

He further stated that, alongside international exercises, the Iranian Navy has also planned to conduct naval drills with neighboring countries and in an oceanic region. In this context, a trilateral exercise involving a larger number of participating countries is scheduled to be held in the near future.
