Islamabad, Pakistan 10th June 2026 — The Russia National Day celebrations featured a remarkable cultural presentation organized by Niftysphere Institute of Arts & Design, highlighting the strong cultural ties between Pakistan and Russia.
The event’s choreography was led by Syed Usman Tahir, Advisor to the Federal Minister, Ministry of National Heritage & Culture, and CEO of Niftysphere Institute of Arts & Design. The performance received widespread appreciation from distinguished guests attending the prestigious event.
The traditional Russian costumes presented during the cultural showcase were designed and developed by the faculty and students of Niftysphere Institute of Arts & Design under the supervision of Sidra-ul-Muntaha, Head of Department. The costumes reflected the rich cultural heritage and traditions of Russia and added exceptional value to the celebrations.
During the event, President of Pakistan, Asif Ali Zardari, appreciated the cultural presentation and acknowledged the efforts behind the successful showcase. The Ambassador of the Russian Federation also formally introduced Syed Usman Tahir to the President of Pakistan and highlighted that the event choreography, costume design, and overall cultural presentation had been executed by Niftysphere Institute of Arts & Design under the leadership of Syed Usman Tahir.
Federal Minister for National Heritage & Culture, Aurangzeb Khan Khichi, who was also an honored guest at the event, highly appreciated the efforts of his Advisor, Syed Usman Tahir, for successfully leading the choreography and cultural presentation.
