BAKU ( WNAM MONITORING): President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has approved the new State Program for Food Safety for 2027–2032. The head of state signed the corresponding order.
The document is aimed at providing the country’s population with safe and high-quality food products, enhancing the efficiency and transparency of the food safety system, and aligning it with international requirements.
The Food Safety Agency of Azerbaijan will coordinate the activities outlined in the state program and oversee their execution.
The agency is required to inform the head of state annually about the progress of the program’s implementation.
Monitoring and evaluation of the envisioned measures will be conducted by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication, as commissioned by the Food Safety Agency.
