KABUL: In a meeting held today at the office of Mawlawi Mohammad Yaqoob Mujahid, the acting Minister of National Defense, both Afghanistan and Qatar expressed their commitment to fortifying bilateral relations and expanding cooperation between the two countries.
During the meeting, Acting Minister Mujahid extended his sincere gratitude to Qatar for its invaluable humanitarian aid provided to the victims affected by recent earthquakes and floods in Afghanistan.
Responding to the acting Minister’s remarks, Mohammad bin Abdul Aziz Al-Khalifi, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, reaffirmed Qatar’s dedication to deepening the strong bonds of friendship between Afghanistan and Qatar. He emphasized their intention to expand cooperation across various sectors, aiming to mutually benefit both nations.
Both sides expressed optimism regarding the future prospects of their bilateral relationship, highlighting the potential for increased cooperation in sectors of security, defense, trade, investment, and cultural exchange.
