On June 5, a concert dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the death of Giacomo Puccini, an Italian opera composer, organist and choirmaster, will be held at the Magtymguly National Music and Drama Theater.
The world of Puccini’s opera awaits you, performed by Italian tenor Matteo Lippi, Turkmen singer Bahar Durdyeva and the State Symphony Orchestra of Turkmenistan conducted by Rasul Klychev.
The event was organized by the Italian Embassy in Ashgabat together with the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan.
This concert is another of the events held as part of the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the opening of the Italian Embassy in Turkmenistan.
Admission to the concert is free. Starts at 19:00.
