KABUL: Sheikh Shahabuddin Delawar, the Acting Minister of Mines and Petroleum, recently met with Sayed Karim Hashimi, Head of Yama Petroleum Group, to explore investment opportunities in Afghanistan’s mineral resources sector.
During the meeting, the Afghan investor expressed keen interest in investing in Afghanistan’s mineral resources, specifically in oil and gas, gold, and salt. He also requested comprehensive support and cooperation from the ministry to facilitate these investments.
In response to the investor’s interest, the Acting Minister assured full cooperation and discussed the methods of investing in the country’s mineral resources in accordance with mining laws.
