As part of the visit to Ankara, a ceremony was held to award the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev with the “Order of the Republic of Türkiye”.
The highest state award of the fraternal country was solemnly presented to the Leader of Uzbekistan by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
It is a great honor for me to receive such a high award from the Republic of Türkiye on the day of signing the Declaration on Deepening the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between our countries. This award symbolizes thousands of years of fraternal ties between our peoples, confidential dialogue at the highest level, and rapidly developing multifaceted bilateral relations”, the President of Uzbekistan said.
It should be noted that in accordance with the resolution of the President of the Republic of Türkiye, this highest order is awarded to government officials who have made a significant contribution to the development of friendly relations with Türkiye.
