(WNAM): Kazakhstan won two medals at the Collalbo 2023 Junior World Cup Speed Skating in Italy, Kazinform News Agency cites the Kazakh Tourism and Sports Ministry’s press service.
Inessa Shumekova finished first in the women’s 1000 m finals clocking in under 1:22:34. Arina Iliyashenko clocked 1:22:61 to win the silver medal in the same distance. Poland’s Magdalena Smędzik rounded out the top three clocking in at 1:23:20.
The Collalbo 2023 Junior World Cup Speed Skating brought together 230 sportsmen from 27 countries.
