WNAM MONITORING: The state visit of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov, which took place at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, has ended.
As part of the two-day stay program, high-level talks took place, following which the leaders signed a Joint Statement on further deepening and enhancing comprehensive strategic partnership.
A solid package of bilateral documents has been adopted, and major joint projects have been launched in the energy, automotive, and textile industries.
The heads of state participated in a joint concert of art masters of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.
The dialogue between the heads of state continued in Khiva. The presidents got acquainted with the Khiva Gilamlari carpet factory’s production facilities and an exhibition of products under the “Made in Uzbekistan” brand.
The leaders, together with their spouses, also visited the ancient oasis city’s historical and architectural treasures.
Following the visit, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and his spouse saw off President Sadyr Zhaparov and his spouse at Urgench International Airport.
Then, the President of Uzbekistan departed for Tashkent.
