WNAM REPORT: On August 8, the official welcoming ceremony for the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev took place at the Akorda Residence.
A guard of honor was lined up in honor of the distinguished guest. The national anthems of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan were played. The leaders of the two countries walked around the guard of honor. A joint photographing ceremony took place.
Currently, the heads of state are holding talks in a contracted format. The parties are discussing current issues of further development and deepening strategic partnership and alliance between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.
