WNAM REPORT: On September 9, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bahromjon Aloyev met with the Director General of the Islamic Organization for Food Security (IOFS) Berik Aryn, sources report.
The IOFS Director General highly appreciated the level of organization and holding of the Tashkent International Forum of Landlocked Developing Countries on Food Security and the Sustainable Development Goals, noting that the forum has become an essential platform for discussing current issues of food security and sustainable development.
During the talks, the parties discussed the prospects for further cooperation between Uzbekistan and IOFS and the possibility of implementing joint projects in food security.
