WNAM REPORT: President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent sincere congratulations and best wishes to the Secretary-General of the United Nations Antonio Guterres on the occasion of UN Day. In his message, the head of state noted the importance of multifaceted and long-term cooperation with the UN, emphasizing its strategic significance for Turkmenistan’s foreign policy, sources report.
“I recall with pride your visit to Turkmenistan in July 2024. During it, we discussed in detail a number of issues on increasing our country’s interaction with the United Nations in various areas,” the head of state emphasized in his message.
The President of Turkmenistan also expressed confidence that cooperation with the UN is a stronghold of the modern partnership system, a guarantor of peace, security and sustainable development on the planet.
In conclusion of the message, Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished the UN Secretary-General good health, happiness and prosperity, and conveyed warm congratulations and wishes for new successes to the staff of the UN Secretariat.
