WNAM MONITORING: BRICS has turned into the global center of attraction. This is what President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said addressing the 16th BRICS Summit in Kazan, Kazinform News Agency reports.
Recall, that the Summit of the BRICS member states is being held in Kazan, Tatarstan, from October 22 to 24.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, South African President Matamela Cyril Ramaphosa, Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, Chinese President Xi Jinping, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan as well as other leaders arrived at the event.
At the invitation of the President of Russia, Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev arrived in Kazan for a working visit to attend the 16th Summit of the BRICS Heads of State. The Kazakh President held a series of brief talks with the summit participants.
