WNAM Monitoring: President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev sent a telegram of condolences to new Emir of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshaal al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah, and the people of Kuwait on the death of the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah.
It is with deep sorrow I learned about the death of the Emir of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah. Sheikh Nawaf dedicated his life to the prosperity of Kuwait and ensuring a stable future for his people, as well as maintaining peace and stability in the region. He will forever remain in the memory of the people of Kazakhstan as a wise ruler, an authoritative politician of international level, a historical figure who made a great contribution to strengthening the bilateral cooperation. Sharing the bitterness of loss, at this difficult moment, on behalf of the people of Kazakhstan and on my own behalf, I express sincere condolences to you, your family and the entire people of Kuwait, the telegram reads.
