Somebody had rightly said that with friends like Ali Amin Gandapur, Imran Khan doesn’t need enemies. It was his advisors like him who prompted political setbacks of the PTI’s founder one after the other. What, for instance , was the need of braggadocio of CM KPK about going to D Chowk if he had to run away from the said Chowk leaving his accomplices in the lurch and making himself a laughing stock of his countrymen?
In politics emotionalism always occupies the back seat. Political acumen, farsightedness, tolerance and sense of timings when to advance, when to wait and when to slow down matter more than any thing else.
The founder of the PTI has proved himself to be a very poor judge of men while selecting his political team. One doesn’t know whether he himself takes all political decisions or gives his ear to his advisors also but more often than not he has taken some decisions which have only landed him and his party into serious trouble and lowered his esteem in the public eyes.
