ISLAMABAD( WNAM REPORT): Former Chairman of the Founder Group, Khalid Iqbal Malik, stated that the unity of traders and resolving their issues have always been his top priorities. Speaking at a luncheon he hosted in honor of the newly elected officials of Jinnah Super Market and Super Market, he commended them for providing excellent services to traders and assured them that the Founder Group would play its full role in protecting traders’ rights.
The luncheon was attended by Jinnah Super Market President Asad Aziz, Super Market President Shehzad Shabbir Abbasi, United Business Group Pakistan Secretary General Zafar Bakhtawari, former ICCI President Ahsan Zafar Bakhtawari, President of Islamabad Chamber of Small Traders and Small Industry Owais Satti, ICCI Senior Vice President Abdul Rehman Siddiqui, Raja Muhammad Yaseen, Amir Qureshi, and other notable figures.
Addressing the gathering, Zafar Bakhtawari emphasized the need for chambers and trader leaders to work together for the development of Islamabad’s markets and the facilitation of traders. Ahsan Zafar Bakhtawari highlighted the necessity for the government and chambers to take further steps to improve the infrastructure and provide facilities in the markets.
Asad Aziz and Shehzad Shabbir Abbasi expressed their gratitude, acknowledging the support of Khalid Iqbal Malik and other leaders in addressing traders’ issues. They urged the government to prioritize solving problems like cleanliness, parking, and security in the markets.
Owais Satti, Abdul Rehman Siddiqui, Raja Muhammad Yaseen, Amir Qureshi, and other speakers also highlighted the challenges faced by the trading community and shared their suggestions for resolving these issues. They expressed hope that the unity among traders would continue in the future. On this occasion, all officials pledged to work collectively for the development of markets and the resolution of their problems.
