WNAM REPORT: China’s delegation for the Harbin Asian Winter Games held a meeting at the General Administration of Sport on Friday, as they get set to compete as the host nation when the event starts on February 7th.
The delegation consists of 257 people, including 170 athletes. This is the third time that China has participated as the host country. Its athletes will compete in all 64 events.
Among them are 85 men and 85 women, with an average age of 23. The oldest is 40 years old and the youngest is 16. 147 athletes are participating for the first time. 48 competed at the Beijing Winter Olympics, including Gu Ailing and Xu Mengtao, who are among the six Olympic champions.
