WNAM REPORT: Diplomats at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Japan met with the Mayor of Nara, Mr.Gen Nakagawa, to discuss preparations for a significant exhibition devoted to Uzbekistan’s cultural and historical heritage. The event will be held at the Nara National Museum in 2027.
The parties exchanged views on the current preparations for the exhibition. The Japanese side expressed confidence in the rapid progress of organizational issues, emphasizing that this cultural event will become an important milestone in relations between Uzbekistan and Japan.
The participants also discussed the prospects for further development of cooperation between Samarkand and Nara. An agreement was reached on the visit of the Japanese companies’ delegation led by the Mayor of Nara to Samarkand in the first half of this year. A business forum and B2B meetings will also take place during this trip.
These events promise to strengthen ties between the two countries and deepen cultural exchange, significantly contributing to developing bilateral relations.
