Tashkent ( WNAM MONITORING): Following high-level talks, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif signed a Joint Declaration and a Protocol on the establishment of a bilateral Strategic Partnership Council at the highest level.
These documents aim to further develop and strengthen comprehensive cooperation between the two countries.
As part of the visit, an exchange of signed agreements took place in the presence of the leaders of Uzbekistan and Pakistan. Among them was an agreement on cooperation in science, technology, and innovation, as well as a visa-free travel arrangement for holders of diplomatic passports.
Additionally, agreements were signed on cooperation between the Ministries of Internal Affairs, collaboration in vocational education and youth policy, and a partnership between the national news agencies of both nations.
