WNAM REORT: Last week, the volume of export transactions at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan amounted to more than 9 million 77 thousand US dollars. In total, 13 transactions of both foreign and domestic nature were registered at the auction.
Entrepreneurs from the United Arab Emirates and Afghanistan purchased low-sulfur fuel oil and aviation kerosene produced by the state concern Türkmennebit, sodium chloride produced by the Türkmenhimiýa State Corporation, as well as Portland cement for foreign currency.
Representatives of business circles from China, Serbia, the UAE and Kyrgyzstan purchased Turkmen dried roots and rhizomes of licorice, raw satin and calico fabric, bedding sets, cotton yarn and cotton fiber.
Polypropylene, packaging film of the state concern “Türkmennebit”, and cotton fiber were sold on the domestic market. The amount of transactions for the domestic market amounted to 10 million 446 thousand manats.
