ISLAMABAD ( WNAM REPORT ): Ms Shumaila Siddiqui, Executive Member of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry, visited the Myanmar Embassy to offer condolences for the devastating earthquake that struck Myanmar on March 28, 2025. During her visit, she met with Ambassador Wunna Han and expressed profound sorrow on behalf of the Pakistani business community and people.
She conveyed heartfelt condolences to the people of Myanmar, drawing parallels with Pakistan’s own experiences with natural disasters.
Ms Siddiqui emphasized the importance of global solidarity in response to natural disasters, highlighting the need for compassion, unity, and a shared sense of responsibility toward fellow human beings.
She also registered her solidarity and grief with the bereaved families in the Condolence Book.
On his part, Ambassador Wunna Han expressed his gratitude for her visit to condole and expressing solidarity with the victim families as well as the Myanmar government.
