ISLAMABAD ( WNAM REPORT ): The Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) and business community leaders have lauded the “Made in Gujranwala Exhibition 2025,” organized by the Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI), for its significant role in promoting trade. The three-day event, held from April 11-13, 2025, in Islamabad, brought together industry leaders, businesses, and innovators to showcase local production, craftsmanship, and innovation.
The exhibition featured the participation of 87 industrial brands from Gujranwala, giving it an international flavor with the presence of foreign ambassadors and diplomats. Gujranwala’s 18,000 Small and Medium Industries (SMEs) have vast potential for increasing exports and contributing to the country’s economy. The expo provided a valuable platform for industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and innovators to connect, explore high-quality products, and discover emerging market trends.
SM Tanveer, Patron-in-Chief of United Business Group (UBG), praised GCCI for successfully organizing the expo, highlighting its role in promoting local production and exports. Atif Ikram Sheikh, President of FPCCI, congratulated GCCI on the exhibition, emphasizing Gujranwala’s potential as the fourth-largest industrial city in Pakistan to boost exports and achieve economic goals.
The exhibition showcased over 90 stalls displaying a wide range of products, including home appliances, sanitary items, edibles, beauty products, and electrical industry products. The event was formally inaugurated by Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, Muhammad Aurangzeb, and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Industries and Production, Haroon Akhtar Khan. Prominent government officials, business leaders, ambassadors, traders, and a diverse group of attendees participated in the expo.
