WNAM REPORT: A delegation from Russia visited Navoi to study the export-import potential of the city and became familiar with the activities of local producers, their capabilities, and prospects for international cooperation.
The delegation members visited the Navoi Ishonch Gilamlari joint venture, where they were informed about the entire production chain: from processing raw materials to packaging finished products. The processes use advanced technologies, high-performance automated equipment, and lines, which improve product quality and expand production volumes. This company was founded in 2003. About 500 employees work here in three shifts. The enterprise also launched carpet dry cleaning and the production of building materials. Technological modernization has been carried out at the enterprise to increase production capacity. A high-performance weaving machine has been put into operation, which produces over one million square meters of carpets annually.Product demand is growing, and exports to Russia are also underway. The parties discussed the issues of expanding trade-economic cooperation. The Russian partners assessed the enterprise’s export potential and identified promising areas of cooperation.
