ISLAMABAD ( WNAM REPORT ): The business community and presidents of trader organizations of Islamabad, under the leadership of Secretary General of United Business Group (FPCCI) Zafar Bakhtawari and President of Anjuman Tajiran Pakistan Ajmal Baloch, visited the mausoleum of Mohsin-e-Pakistan (Benefactor of Pakistan) Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan. They laid floral wreaths and showered petals on his grave.

On this occasion, they paid rich tribute to his unparalleled services in making Pakistan a nuclear power. Presidents and leaders of various markets and trade organizations praised Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan’s contributions to the nation, stating that he is a national hero who played a key role in making Pakistan’s defense invincible. Participants prayed for his forgiveness and elevated ranks in the hereafter and vowed to continue his mission.

Speaking on the occasion, Zafar Bakhtawari said that Pakistan is an ideological state founded on the Kalima Tayyiba (the Islamic declaration of faith) and the two-nation theory. Islam is its foundation, and it was made to last forever. The entire nation is indebted to Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan for the services he rendered to make this country undefeatable till the end of time. Today, by visiting his grave, we are here to express our gratitude.

Ajmal Baloch stated that Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan materialized the dreams of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Allama Iqbal in such a way that he will be remembered forever.

ICC Vice President Nasir Chaudhry said that just as Pakistan achieved victory under the leadership of General Asim Munir against India, we pray that our country continues to triumph over its enemies and that the nation always holds its head high with pride.

Other prominent attendees included Naeem Akhtar Awan (President G-11 Markaz), Zargham Shah (President D-12), Iftikhar Abbasi (President E-11), Tahir Abbasi (Group Leader F-10 Markaz), Yousaf Rajput (Group Leader Blue Area), Khalid Chaudhry (General Secretary Traders Action Committee), Waheed Cheema (President I-8 Markaz), Zafar Iqbal Gujar (President G-10), Altaf Hussain Shah (President G-7 Markaz), Irfan Chaudhry (President Steel Market), Akhtar Hussain Abbasi (General Secretary Aabpara Market), Khursheed Qureshi (President Jamiat Al-Quraish), Rouhail Anwar Butt (Executive Member ICCI), and former ICCI Vice President Nisar Mirza, Tahmas Butt, Adil Barkat, along with a large number of trader leaders.

This dignified event once again highlighted the fact that the Pakistani nation never forgets its benefactors and that the trader community will continue to show its love and loyalty to the homeland at every level.
