WNAM MONITORING: The 24th Annual White City Ashgabat International Exhibition and Conference will take place in Turkmenistan’s capital from May 24 to 25, 2025, gathering over 400 delegates from 30 countries, according to organizers of event.
The large-scale event is organized by the Ashgabat city administration, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, and the NGO Turkmen Energy Forum. The exhibition will feature more than 150 stands from government agencies, business representatives, the scientific community, and international organizations.
The conference’s key themes will include sustainable urban development, modern urban planning solutions, digitalization, and environmental technologies.
The conference program includes speeches by senior United Nations officials. UN-Habitat Executive Director Anacláudia Rossbach will present global trends in sustainable city development, while UNIDO Deputy Director General Ciyong Zou will discuss joint projects with Turkmenistan, including the “Ashgabat City” initiative.
Participants will discuss prospects for international cooperation in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and implementing green technologies in urban infrastructure.
