WNAM MONITORING: The President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will travel to Hungary and Slovenia May 19–22 on official visits, the presidential press service said.
The Uzbek leader will land in Budapest on May 19, where he is expected to hold talks with Hungarian PM Orban, high-ranking officials and CEOs of leading Hungarian companies.
The parties will consider the ways to further expand practical cooperation and strategic partnership ties between the two countries.
On May 21, the Uzbek President will attend the informal Turkic Summit in Budapest.
On May 22, Shavkat Mirziyoyev will meet with the President of Slovenia Nataša Pirc Musar in Ljubljana, hold talks with the speaker of the Slovenian Parliament and the PM, and join business events.
The [arties are expected to discuss the way to further develop mutually beneficial trade and economic cooperation, implementing cooperation projects in the pharmaceutical, industrial, food and textile industries, interaction in the field of labor migration and expanding humanitarian contacts.
