WNAM REPORT: The United Arab Emirates has created the largest national flag made of human prints. The unique composition, officially recognized by the Guinness Book of Records, combines the handprints of 24.5 thousand people representing over a hundred different nationalities.
Among the participants in the large-scale action was a baby, Mohammed Mustafa Imran, who is only three months old. Although the baby does not yet understand the scale of the event, his parents are convinced that when he grows up, he will be proud of his participation in the historical project. The baby’s tiny imprint is now part of a giant canvas presented in Dubai.
The concept of the initiative was a simple yet profound idea: “Unity in Diversity.” The project involved people from all age groups and walks of life, uniting to show their affection and gratitude towards the UAE.
The process of collecting prints began on April 13 in the Al Quoz area and included 39 events. A team of volunteers traveled across the country, collecting prints from educational institutions, cultural centers and other public places. All the collected prints were then assembled into a single monumental canvas.
