ISLAMABAD ( WNAM REPORT ): A unique and captivating art exhibition was held at the Bulgarian Embassy in Islamabad, hosted by the Ambassador of Bulgaria to Pakistan, Ms. Irena Gancheva. The exhibition showcased the artworks of a renowned female painter from Bulgaria. The chief guest at this colorful event was Additional Secretary of Foreign Affairs, Muhammad Ayub.
The event was attended by a large number of dignitaries including Chairman of the Pakistan Cultural Forum, Zafar Bakhtawari, Director General of the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA), Ayub Jamali, ambassadors from various European countries, personalities associated with the fine arts, intellectuals, students, and media representatives.
On this occasion, Bulgarian Ambassador Ms. Irena Gancheva addressed the audience, stating that the exhibition is a wonderful initiative to promote cultural ties between the two countries. She emphasized that painting is a universal language that brings nations closer together. She reaffirmed her commitment to working on joint cultural projects with artists and cultural institutions in Pakistan.
She also expressed her deep admiration for Pakistani culture and the hospitality of its people. According to her, the artworks not only represent the aesthetic values of Bulgaria but also highlight the emotions of human beings, the beauty of nature, and the interconnectedness of civilizations.
The exhibition was highly appreciated by the attendees, who remarked that such events help project Pakistan’s positive and culturally rich image to the world.
