Modi has turned Kashmir into a hell by his atrocious policy which is akin to what Netanyahu has adopted against the Palestinians.
Billed by the Guinness book of world records as one of the biggest military disputes of the world the Kashmir issue is a stigma on the face of the UN which has failed to get it resolved in the light of its 1948 resolution asking for a referendum in the valley to decide about its future.
The steadfast determination of Kashmiris to get it implemented has cost them loss of umpteen lives but the blood of people like Maqbool Butt and Burhan Wani has kept their struggle alive. Those who think Kashmir problem can be solved through rule by the jackboot are living in a fool’s paradise. Had the heroic struggle of Kashmiris for liberation of their valley from the Indian yoke been not indigenous it would have been dead long ago. The very fact that it has survived all odds wax eloquent of the popularity and mass appeal of the struggle of Kashmiris to free themselves from Indian tutelage.

Never before in the not too distant past has the US seen a whimsical, non- serious tenant of the White House as Trump, He changes colour like the chameleon at the drop of a hat and takes decision in post- haste only to take them back soon. Small wonder the world media has been making a fun of him quite often. He has earned enmity instead of love of the Muslim world by his out of the way too much tilt towards Tel Aviv.
The side effects of the climatic change are quite visible in the country today. The month of May used to be quite dry till the arrival of pre-monsoon rains around mid June but during the month of May this year occasional thunderstorms and cloud burst have added a new dimension to the climate circle side by side the Meteorological department predicts extensive heat and the resultant melting of glaciers in the northern parts of the country posing a threat of heavy floods also in the days to come in the low lying areas.
